Diksha Foundation was established in 2010 in Patna by a group of school friends who had first volunteered together in 1997 and reunited to work on education in Bihar. It offers holistic education to children and youth from socially and economically marginalised communities — built around relationship, responsibility and reverence rather than literacy alone — through its Knowledge Hubs for Education and Learning, scholarships and youth programmes, and creates livelihood opportunities for women.
