Gram Sathi is a registered trust, established 25 April 2007 and based in Deoghar, Jharkhand, working to improve the lives of poor, vulnerable communities across five eastern Indian states. Its programmes span agriculture and livelihood support, education, financial literacy and inclusion, child rights, women's empowerment and climate action including water conservation. The organisation's approach centres on community mobilisation, placing marginalised groups — the poor, children, women and the elderly — at the centre of its development work.
