Ladakh Nuns Association (LNA) is a Leh-based trust founded in 1996 by Dr. Tsering Palmo to revive and support the tradition of Buddhist nuns in Ladakh, most of whom historically had no access to formal education. It sponsors nuns for Buddhist philosophy and secular schooling in Ladakh, Dharamsala, Dehradun and Nepal, runs a traditional Tibetan medicine (Amchi) training programme, builds and supports nunneries, and has operated mobile health clinics during disasters. It also runs community workshops on health, non-violent communication, domestic violence, trauma healing and de-addiction.
