Makkala Jagriti, established in 2003, works to give children and youth from marginalised communities access to quality education and holistic development. It strengthens the anganwadi ecosystem for pre-school learning, works inside government schools through its SPICE model, transforms child care institutions through staff capacity building, runs a youth empowerment and leadership programme in urban poor communities, and builds change agents within neighbourhoods.
