Shakti Vahini works to prevent human trafficking, child sexual abuse and child marriage across India, and to rescue and repatriate victims of trafficking. It trains police Anti Human Trafficking Units, does legal advocacy to ensure cases are registered and prosecuted, and reports having supported the rescue of over 7,000 trafficking victims and trained more than 56,000 officers since 2005.
