TANKER Foundation is a charitable trust established in June 1993 by Dr Georgi Abraham and Mrs Latha A. Kumaraswami to provide subsidised dialysis and financial assistance for kidney transplantation, medicines and diagnostic tests to underprivileged patients with kidney disease. It also runs screening camps and public awareness work on kidney health, and in 2009 opened a dialysis unit for underprivileged HIV-positive patients.
