Alternative Law Forum is a Bangalore-based collective of lawyers, founded in 2003, that combines subsidised legal assistance for victims of structural oppression with critical research and advocacy on caste, criminal law, labour rights, gender and sexuality, and urban governance. It runs alternative dispute resolution, pedagogic interventions to make constitutional rights more accessible, and sustained legal interventions on social-justice issues.
