Cymaa Trust is a non-profit, non-political, secular voluntary organisation founded in December 2003 by socially-minded people to facilitate social change and economic development among the rural poor. It works at the field level in the Virudhunagar, Theni, Sivagangai and Tenkasi districts of Tamil Nadu, serving communities without discrimination of caste, colour or creed. The trust's core programmes focus on child protection and rural development, with additional work supporting women, persons with disabilities and adolescents. It coordinates with district- and state-level NGOs and community-based organisations across Tamil Nadu.
