Foundation for Education and Development (FED) is a public charitable trust established in 2000 by five educationists. Its flagship field programme, Doosra Dashak ('the second decade'), began in 2001 with support from the Tata Education Trust and works with rural adolescents in Rajasthan through residential camps, skills training, continuing-education programmes and community-building efforts, spanning nine blocks across seven districts.
