Open Healthcare Network Foundation, based in Kochi, stewards CARE, an open-source, MIT-licensed hospital operating system listed in the UN's Digital Public Goods registry. Rather than running hospitals itself, it builds interoperable software used by governments, hospitals and public-health implementers for patient records, critical care, scheduling, pharmacy and diagnostics, so partner institutions can run health systems without vendor lock-in.
