Jabala Action Research Organisation works in West Bengal and neighbouring districts on violence against women and girls, the prevention of child marriage and the trafficking of young and vulnerable girls. Alongside its anti-trafficking and child-protection work it runs HIV/AIDS programmes, a Football for Freedom initiative, computer literacy camps for girls, and research, documentation and advocacy, working with Child Welfare Committees and district officials.
